Ambient & drone music for a tired, recovering brain

A two-year project in sound, made while relearning rest, focus, and movement after brain fatigue and apraxia.

About this project

This is a two-year project, built one slow track at a time. I compose ambient and drone music while living with brain fatigue and apraxia, conditions that make quick thinking and precise movement hard, but that haven’t taken away the need to create. Each piece here is layered slowly, without hurry, the same way I’ve had to relearn most things: one step, one note, one line of code at a time.

Brain Rest Audio is the English companion to my Swedish site, KjellsPaus.se, where the same project also includes fugue, experimental, and short Micro-Paus pieces. Here, the focus stays narrow: ambient and drone, music meant to rest a tired mind rather than demand anything from it.
